“I started my son when he had just turned 3 years old. I knew it was young, but was eager to give him something to think about mentally other than toys. He’d recently had a baby brother and was having some anxiety issues at the time. Starting piano lessons with our instructor was everything I’d hoped for and more. He was extremely patient and creative with holding his attention while teaching basic piano concepts. We loved having our son come home and show us his new trick he’d learned after a lesson. Today my son tries to show his baby brother (16 mos) how to use only one finger at a time on the piano instead of smashing it with all of his hands.
